Ann Herron Death, Obituary – The news that came out today is quite upsetting. Ann Herron, who was employed by APEX Housing, tragically died away yesterday evening. During the course of the preceding two years, we worked with Shandon on a number of different initiatives, and that’s how we were acquainted with Ann. It’s probable that some of the people who are a part of our community met her at either the celebration we threw to celebrate our 50th anniversary or, more recently, at the Halloween party we threw.
Conversations and antics with her will be something that we will miss doing in the future. Have a restful night, and I hope you have a pleasant day tomorrow. God rest your soul Ann, speaking on behalf of the people who live in Shandon Park and the committee in Omagh Ann was a selfless and unassuming woman who deeply cared for her family. In addition to being a wonderful grandmother, she was also a wonderful wife, mother, and sister. She was known as the “Lunch Lady” at Lake Village Indiana Elementary School, where she worked for a total of fourteen years. She was a skilled cook who took a lot of delight in the fact that her loved ones enjoyed the food she prepared for them.
You never experienced feelings of hunger after leaving her house. Her work in the garden was a source of great satisfaction for her. One of the most eye-catching aspects of her garden was its collection of hollyhocks. She found that both listening to the wrens sing and watching them build their nests brought her a great deal of pleasure throughout the springtime. In addition to that, Ann was a die-hard fan of both the Chicago White Sox and the Chicago Bulls sports teams.
