Brett Cupples Death, Obituary – As a result of the passing of Brett Cupples, who was both a colleague and a close personal friend of ours, we are experiencing an overwhelming sense of bereavement. Our thoughts and prayers are with him, his wife, and his son, as well as the rest of his family, during this difficult time. We are thinking about and praying for all of them. More than two decades’ worth of success for the Duvall Decker team may be attributed to the contributions of our good friend Brett, who has been a part of our life for the past three decades. The body of work that Duvall Decker has produced includes a substantial number of projects that he has either led or been a contributor to.
Decker has been involved in several of these projects. Brett was always a soothing presence who had a desire for quality and a spirit that was unflappable when it came to working together. He was the kind of person who was always prepared to lend a hand. He never lacked the willingness to work with other people in whatever capacity. He was an excellent host, chef, and bartender, and he had the uncanny ability to make his guests feel at ease and as though they were in their own home when they were in his company. His selflessness and generosity, in addition to the constant presence he played in our lives, will be sadly missed by all of us.
On the following Friday, the 16th of December, there will be a visitation beginning at 10:30 in the morning at Fondren Church in Jackson, Mississippi. The 16th of December is also the date of the funeral service. Approximately twelve o’clock in the afternoon will mark the beginning of the wake.
