Jamie Dumas Obituary, Death – RIP Jamie! A new piece of information obtained from a person who lived in her park has revealed, with the utmost reverence, that she passed away in her home as a result of an aneurysm that was triggered by an overdose that occurred in the parking lot of the Walmart in Plattsburgh. Have enough respect for your family to not be a nosy nelly and to let them mourn in peace without interruption. Not to mention the actual scumbags who are going to take indiscreet pictures just so they can post them on social media. She was a fine person, and the circumstances surrounding her passing have no influence on Jamies’ character or the character of anyone else with an addiction.
The unexpected passing of our cherished brother Jamie Yvon Dumas, who was only 52 years old when he passed away on August 5, 2022 in Victoria, British Columbia due to natural causes has left all of us here with broken hearts. Jamie was trained as a geologist, but over the course of his career, he worn a variety of hats. At the age of 17, he uprooted his life and joined the military, which is when he first discovered his passion for the sea. Jamie served as a naval officer, worked as a tree planter and diver for the British Columbia Fisheries, taught in China and Thailand, and then became a geologist who traveled to Africa, Baffin Island, and all across Canada.
Jamie had a passion for exploring new places and found his happiest moments to be spent prospecting in the woods, on the lake, or in the mountains. He began his collecting career at a young age with items such as stamps, rocks, and fossils. In his later years, he became an ardent fossil and dinosaur bone hunter in the Alberta badlands. Jamie had a lot of cats and fish tanks that were constantly enormous since he cherished his animal companions. He began reading voraciously at an early age and gave the impression of being able to remember all he had ever read. He was extremely knowledgeable in a wide variety of fields.
Jamie had a tremendous sense of comedy. He had a large, lovely smile, and his dimples were enormous. He was very smart, and his smile was always followed by his dimples. Jamie, the youngest of five children, was the baby of the family. His mother, Janet, his daughter Anya, who was the greatest love of his life, and her mother, Laura, as well as his second wife, Julia, and her son, Saman, are the only members of his family to survive him.
Also survived by her siblings, Debbie Whillans (who was predeceased by her husband Bruce), Bonnie Wakewich (who was predeceased by her husband Steve), Brian Whillans (who was predeceased by his wife Corlynn), Wendy Stajkowski (who was predeceased by her husband Norman), her nephews Jordan Michels (who was predeceased by his wife Breanne) and daughter Eliana, Trevor Whillans (who was predeceased by his wife Julie) and son Ronan, His father, Yvon Dumas, passed away in 2018, before his birth. Cremation has taken place, and there will be no memorial service held in accordance with his desires.
