Mark Peters Obituary, Death – The death occurred without any distress on Monday, August 1, 2022, at the UC Medical Center in Oxford. On December 16, 1952, he was born in Hamilton to Mark Peters and Clara Peters, who have since passed away. Mark received his diploma from Badin High School in the year 1972. He held a job as an electrician and was a participant in the IBEW Local 648 union. He wed Sherri Newton on November 14, 1981, and the couple has already celebrated 40 lovely years of marriage together.
Mark attended The Presbyterian Church, where he was active in both the Chancel Choir and the Praise Band. Mark also sang in the church choir. In addition to that, he was a member of the Village Voices for a considerable amount of time. Mark was an athlete who participated in various sports throughout his life, including football in high school, fast pitch softball, church league softball, and golf later in life.
He was really easy to get along with, friendly, and always ready to lend a hand when working on a project. Mark is survived by his wife Sherri, sons Chad (Andrea) Peters and Zachary Peters, and granddaughters Clara and Noah Peters. Mark also leaves behind his parents. In addition, he is survived by his sisters Sandy (Gerry) Hyland and Joanie Burkhart; his brothers Bob (Leslie) Peters, John (Denise), and Jim (Laura) Peters; his brother-in-law Randy (Lynn) Newton; and a large number of adoring nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents. A funeral service will be performed at The Presbyterian Church on August 6, 2022 at eleven in the morning, and the Reverend Dr. John Lewis will preside over the event. After that, there will be a get-together with friends and family in the Mix and Mingle Room.
