Mary Helen Death, Obituary – This next week, I will be gone for a significant portion of the week as a result of the fact that my family and I will be going back to Illinois to spend the remaining time with my maternal grandma, Mary Helen Young. I will miss a significant amount of the week as a result of this. A little early this month, she died away. The preceding week saw her passing away from this life. Stella, Conner, and I were fortunate enough to be able to travel to Illinois earlier in the week to spend time with her before she passed away. Before she passed away, we were able to spend time with her.
Sadly, though, she passed away during our stay, which cut it short. We had a lot of things to discuss, but in the end, all we did was enjoy one other’s company and take pleasure in the fact that she was having a wonderful day. The single most significant thing is that we were all present and are able to recall the happy times and smiles we shared together, and this fact alone is the single most important thing. The manner in which my grandmother expressed thanks at the conclusion of each dinner is the aspect of her that I will remember most fondly and never forget about her. No matter what was going on, she would begin, and after around five words she would start crying.
This would repeat itself over and over again. This pattern would continue to occur over and over again. She had such a great love for her family that it caused her eyes to well up with tears any time all of them were present in the same room together. She shared every ounce of warmth and affection that she could muster with each and every one of us. As we did of her!
