Mathew and Amanda McCleary welcomed their daughter Natalie into the world on March 15, 2009 in the city of Muscatine. While attending Louisa Muscatine, Natalie was active in many extracurricular activities, including volleyball, band, choir, and the mock trial team. She was a member of the Pearl City Players and was also skilled at playing the piano. The Fourth of July and Christmas were her two favorite times of year to celebrate. Drawing, the arts, swimming, and going for rides in the golf cart were all activities that Natalie and her brother, Noah, enjoyed doing together. When she entered a room, she would immediately start hugging people, and it would immediately brighten the atmosphere. Natalie enjoyed interacting with others and taking pleasure in seeing them smile. She cherished the company of cats, the time she spent with her friends, the late-night conversations she had with her brother, and the time she spent with her dog, Daisy.
She also enjoyed reading and going on shopping excursions to Barnes and Noble. It was always such a treat for her to stay the night with her grandparents. It was fun for Natalie and her father to joke around and make fun of her father’s receding hairline. In addition to that, she looked forward to spending time with her mother going shopping and getting her hair and nails done. Those who are still alive and will carry on her legacy are her parents, Matt and Amanda; her brother, Noah McCleary; her grandparents, Debbie and Doug Wagg and Allen and Alberta McCleary; her great grandparents, Bud and Margaret Donnahoo and Allen and Peg Nordquist; her aunts and uncles, Mikel McCleary and his wife, Allie, and Stacey Wagg and her significant other, Matt Mulholland; as well as her cousins, Liam Mulhol
Her great-grandmother, Effie McCleary, as well as her great-great-grandparents, Albert and Maxine Schweitzer, Rosemary and Howard Wagg, and Leroy Harris, all passed away before Natalie.
