Sandra Fairchild Death, Obituary – Andra Gaile Fairchild was putting up a valiant fight against cancer up until the day that she gave in to the disease on December 7, 2022; she passed away the day after that. She had a life that was rich and rewarding for all 76 years of her existence on this planet. She held a strong appreciation for the sea, nature in general, and the field of horticulture in particular, in all of its forms. She came into the world in the city of Fort Lauderdale, which is located in the state of Florida.
In addition to that, she had a strong passion for the kitchen and placed a high value on the development of constructive relationships with other people. It was difficult to predict who would wind up sleeping on the couch with us or otherwise hanging out with us during the evening in some form. Sandy uprooted her life after graduating from Pompano Beach High School and moving to New York City, where she eventually filed her application to work for Sports Illustrated.
Janet Balestriero was born after she had already gotten married and relocated to California with her new husband and their new daughter. Her former high school sweetheart was the one who proposed to her. Sandy had some second thoughts about the idea of moving to Florida after the birth of her second child, Pamela Smith, but in the end, she decided that it would be best for her family if she did so.
Pamela was born in Florida. After a considerable amount of time had passed, she was eventually able to become a mother for the third time. This time, she gave birth to a son, and they named him Paul Kelso Smith.
Sandy possessed a wonderful sense of humor, was kind, kind, loving, brilliant, and gorgeous; in addition to all of these qualities, she also possessed a zeal for life. She had a career in the Real Estate Title Industry up to the beginning of her 50s, at which point she made the unexpected decision to retire sooner than she had originally planned.
Marsha Watson and Pat Gunter, who is Marsha’s husband, are the only two members of Sandy’s family who are still with us today. Marsha Watson is Sandy’s sister. Her children Pamela Smith and Paul Kelso Smith, in addition to her grandchildren Devin Buchanan and Dan Buchanan, Tyler Nystrom and Riley Nystrom, and her other grandchildren.
