Bobbin Browne Obituary, Death – When they learned that Bobbin Browne had passed away, the members of Bruff Gaa were shocked and extremely upset by the news. In order to show appreciation for Bobbins’s playing career with Bruff, the club will organize a Guard of Honor that will take place at Butlers Funeral Home in his honor today, which is a Tuesday. The members of the club are asked to assemble in front of Butlers at seven o’clock as per our request.
Our dearly departed club member went away without any suffering on December 11th, 2022. They were receiving compassionate care from the professionals at the Milford Care Centre in Limerick at the time of their passing. Both of his parents, Paddy and Mary, had passed away before he was born, so he was raised by his grandparents. In addition to this, he was the uncle of Johnnie in addition to being the brother of Kieran and Fr. Pa.
His devoted wife Margaret, his sisters Teresa and Monica, his brother Pius, his step-son Darren, as well as extended relatives, friends, and neighbors, in particular Mossie and Chrissie Wrenn, have expressed their profound sorrow over his passing. His step-son Darren has also expressed his grief over the loss of his stepfather. Additionally, his step-son Darren has shared his sorrow over the passing of his biological father.
We hope and pray that he will be at rest for the rest of eternity. The family will be present at the Butler’s Funeral Home in Bruff on Tuesday evening (the 13th), between the hours of 6 and 7 o’clock, to meet and greet anyone who comes to pay their respects. A Requiem Mass will be held at Ss. Peter and Paul’s Church in Bruff on Wednesday, December 14 at 11 a.m. in memory of a loved one who passed away. After the Mass, at one o’clock in the afternoon, the cremation will take place at the Shannon Crematorium.
