Grace Ellen Clark Obituary, Death – Grace Ellen Clark passed away on December 9, 2022, at the age of 74, in the comfort and seclusion of her own home in the Brinkley area. She was the only one of her parents’ eight children to be born in the city of Florence, Alabama, and she was one of eight children to be born to Leslie and Ora Mae Parrish. Grace’s life was filled with many wonderful opportunities and experiences, but she most proudly reflected on the roles of wife, mother, mother-in-law, and grandmother that she had played throughout her life. The life of Grace was filled with a multitude of blessings. After years of trying to start a family, she was married to Jessie Wayne Clark, and the couple went on to have three kids together after they were eventually able to do so.
She was provided the additional pleasure of being able to see the expansion of her family during the course of her lifetime, which included the birth of five grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. This was one of the highlights of her life. She counted this benefit among her many other good circumstances and counted it as a blessing nonetheless. Grace’s job at Farris Fashions, which caused her to be apart from her family for a significant portion of the week, was one of the ways that she contributed to the financial well-being of her family.
Even when the company she worked for went out of business, she continued to be a valuable employee there for the entirety of her career there, and she devoted herself completely to the job.She was well-liked by everyone who knew her and loved her due to her outgoing personality, which earned her the reputation of being a people-person who found joy in chit-chatting with other individuals. Grace was a member of the Word of Truth Church that was located in Monroe, and she treasured the opportunities she had to spend time with the community of believers whom she considered of as her extended family. Grace attended the church on a regular basis.
