Joan McEuen Obituary, Death – John Michael “Mike” McEuen passed away on November 11, 2022 at the age of 83. He was able to spend his final days at ease in the comfort of his own home before his passing. He had spent his entire life in the city of Joliet, which is located in Illinois, where he had been born. Both Walter and Genevieve McEuen, he was given the name of both of his parents.
Mike is survived by Sally McEuen, his devoted wife of 57 years, as well as his four children, their spouses, and their six grandchildren. Additionally, Mike leaves behind a total of eight grandchildren from a previous marriage. In addition, Mike will be remembered by his eight great-grandchildren, who will carry on his legacy. Melinda and Ryan Vaughan, along with their children Carter, Isabelle, and Ethan Vaughan; Michael and Joy McEuen, along with their children Madelin and Jacob McEuen; Mark McEuen and Carlos De Paz; and Marna and Chris Bentley, along with their child Cade Bentley are the individuals in question.
Mark McEuen and Carlos De Paz are additionally a part of this group. Mike attended the University of Detroit for his undergraduate education, as well as his graduate school, and he attended the University of Michigan for his doctoral study. Thirty years were spent by him working for the Ethyl and Albemarle firms, during which time he split his time between the cities of Detroit, in the state of Michigan, and Baton Rouge, in the state of Louisiana. Both cities are located in the state of Michigan.
The year 2010 marked the beginning of He and Sally’s retirement, and they made the decision to move to Charlottesville, Virginia, so that they could be closer to their children and grandchildren. This decision was made possible by the fact that Charlottesville is located in the heart of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Mike was an extraordinarily devoted and active parent who, in addition to coaching his children’s sports teams, volunteered 15 years of his life to the Boy Scouts of America. Mike was a member of the National Honor Society for the Boy Scouts of America. In addition to this, Mike was quite active in the community.
