Joel Baker Obituary, Death – The driver of the vehicle that was struck by a cement truck on Saturday in Lehi and subsequently lost their life as a result of the accident has been identified as a deputy with the Salt Lake County Sheriff’s Office, as reported by FOX 13 news. The accident occurred on Saturday. Saturday was the day that the incident took place. The occurrence took place on a Saturday, as the day of the week. A collision took place at the same location where Redwood Road and the Mountain View Corridor intersect on Saturday morning at approximately three in the morning. When the collision occurred, Deputy Joel Baker was driving to the beginning of his shift and was in the process of getting there.
According to FOX 13, the car carrying the cement was traveling south on Redwood Road when it ran a red light at the intersection, which resulted in it colliding with a car coming from Mountain View and turning right onto Redwood. Both of the vehicles involved in the accident sustained significant damage as a result of the collision. The collision occurred as a result of the cement truck driver’s disregard for the red light that was present at the intersection. After being involved in the collision, it was found that the driver of the vehicle had passed away at the scene of the accident before medical attention could be rendered.
