Karen Raffa Death, Obituary – According to a report that was published on Boston.com on Monday, a woman was struck and killed by a motor vehicle as she was waiting in the patient pick-up area of a doctor’s office in Salem, Massachusetts, last week. The incident occurred during the previous week. The event took place last week. The lady’s chronological age was 69 years old (December 12). Karen Raffa, a local resident of Beverly who had been reported missing, was spotted by police officers on patrol in the neighborhood of Highland Avenue at eleven o’clock on Friday morning. The officers were able to identify the woman as being Karen Raffa later on.
As a direct consequence of the injuries she sustained, she was suffering from “severe” pain in both her leg and her wrist at the time (December 9). Raffa was said to be in stable condition when the initial report was made; but, in the end, she was unable to survive the injuries that she had and as a consequence, she passed dead as a result of the injuries that she had. When the police arrived on the scene, the female driver of the vehicle, who was said to be 87 years old and to be from Peabody, was there. Following the tragedy, she was eventually transported to Salem Hospital so that she could be examined by the doctors and nurses working there.
Both the Salem Police Department and the Essex County District Attorney’s Office are currently conducting an investigation into the fatal collision that occurred earlier today. The police have come to the conclusion that it is in the best interest of everyone involved to keep the identity of the woman a secret from the general public until it is possible for a decision to be made regarding whether or not the woman will be charged in connection with the incident. In an obituary that was published by the Salem News, it was written that Raffa had “suffered life-threatening injuries in a heartbreaking accident,” and that this was the reason for his passing away.
Additionally, it was said that this was the cause of Raffa’s demise. In addition, the obituary referred to Raffa as “a loyal and caring Mother, an excellent Nana, a kind Aunt, a supporting and loving friend to everybody,” as well as “her husband Frank’s greatest friend.” Frank was the person who wrote the obituary. Raffa passed away on January 15, 2019, after a battle with cancer.
