Laura Newkirk Obituary, Death – On October 26, 1965, Laura Faye Frederick was born to Leroy Frederick, Sr. and Darlene (Hardeman) Clayton, both of whom have since passed away. On May 10, 2021, Laura passed from this world to the next so that she may be with her wonderful father in heaven. Laura is a product of the Taylor Independent School District, where she received her formal education. In 1984, she received her diploma from Taylor High School. On October 2, 1982, Laura gave birth to her only child, Corey Jamal Frederick, a gorgeous son. He was Laura’s only child.
Laura began her working life shortly after graduating from high school.
Over the course of her career, she has had a variety of positions, including those at IBM, Intercraft, and Seventh Street Daycare. She also held a job at Tellabs in Round Rock, and it was there that she met the man she would spend the rest of her life with, Anthony. After Tellabs went out of business, Laura found a new job as a financial administrator for the Mediview Department at the Austin Regional Clinic in Austin, Texas. Following the abolition of the Mediview Department in the year 2016, Laura made the decision to retire earlier than planned.
As was previously mentioned, Laura first met and fell in love with Anthony Newkirk while she was working at Tellabs. On April 22, 2000, they exchanged wedding vows. Since she was a little child, Laura has been a regular attendee at The First Baptist Church in Taylor, Texas, where she also became a member when she first put her faith in Christ. Laura has a long history of active participation in her church, having previously held the position of President of the Ladies of Zion Mission Auxiliary and currently serving in the role of President of the General Mission. In addition to that, she was a member of the Women’s Chorus, and she was always willing to provide her help in whatever capacity the church required her to perform.
Laura was the epitome of a stunning diva who adored all things related to the fashion industry. If you knew her well, you would already be aware that Macy’s was her favorite store, and you could find her shopping there quite frequently before Covid-19 forced her to switch to using the curbside pickup and home delivery services instead. She imbued everything she wore and came into contact with with the exquisite fragrance of Chanel Coco Mademoiselle, which she left behind. Recently, Laura has discovered that baking is her newfound passion. She would make sure that the entire home smelled delicious by baking a variety of delectable treats and putting them in the oven.
Her cakes were her claim to fame, and she never failed to provide her brother-in-law with his all-time favorite strawberry cake. She placed a great deal of importance on presentation, and whether she was preparing baked goods for the church bake sale or for anyone else, she always took great care to ensure that they were beautifully presented. Laura cherished the time she could spend with her family. Every second of her life, as well as every holiday, was devoted to her family. Her family was the most important thing in the world to her. The alias “the boss” was often used to refer to Laura. She was not the oldest child in the family, but despite this fact, she believed that she was always in charge of something.
And many other times, she actually was, too! She had a beautiful connection with her sisters, and she was especially close to her younger sister, Pam. She loved all of her siblings very much, but she was especially close to her sisters. They were inseparable from one another. You could be forgiven for thinking that you were looking at Pam when you saw Laura. Her son Corey Jamal Frederick and her father, Leroy Frederick, Sr., both preceded her in death and are now at peace in the hereafter.
