Marc Ellis Obituary, Death – On December 11th, one of our own, Marc Ellis, was sadly and unexpectedly taken from us when he was killed in an accident involving a hit and run as he was attempting to aid a stray dog that was on the road. The accident occurred while Marc Ellis was attempting to help the stray dog. The event took place when he was traveling to the spot where the puppy had been found. Marc was attempting to get a hold of the dog at the time.
Marc was a long-standing member who participated in trials with his dogs Parker and Quin, volunteered his time to serve on the Helper Committee, and supported a significant number of dogs in earning recognition as trial helpers. Marc was informed that he will be helping out with the front half of the competition at the CWDF All Breed Championships in 2021 and 2022, even though he had originally intended to compete in the tournament in 2023.
Marc was a true gentleman both on and off the field, exuding class and exemplifying the highest level of sportsmanship with each and every wide grin that he displayed. On the field as much as off of it, he was always a rule follower. Gone but never forgotten. RIP Marc. Marc Ellis, a close friend and dedicated member of the IGP and reptile communities, was tragically killed in a hit-and-run accident on Saturday night as he was attempting to save a stray dog. Marc was on his way to save the pup when the accident occurred.
He was the most generous and hard-working person you could ever hope to meet, and he was always looking for ways to get better. He never said no to anyone who needed a helping hand and made himself available at all times to those who did. A life that was brutally cut short before its time. Because of his passing, the communities of canines and reptiles have each lost a member who played an important role in their respective groups. Click HERE For GoFundMe
