Melanie Maxfield, who was 56 years old and a resident of Smithville, North Carolina, passed away on Friday, July 27th, 2018.
She was born in Smithville, Missouri, on October 11th, 1961, and her birthday is October 11th of that year. Melanie lived in Smithville throughout her childhood and attended Smithville High School, where she earned her high school diploma. The Northland region and the town of Smithville were Melanie’s permanent homes for the entirety of her life. Her parents, Gara Kathryn Summers and Robert Gerald Maxfield, had both passed away before she was born. She was their last kid together as a family.
Melanie is survived by her son, Matthew Maxfield; her brother Chris Maxfield and his wife Becky; her sisters Shelly Cook and Bobbie Maxfield; a number of nieces and nephews, additional relatives, and a great number of friends. Melanie was preceded in death by her father, William Maxfield. The viewing will begin at six o’clock in the evening. to 7:30 p.m. during the closing portion of the memorial service that will take place on August 1 at 7:30 p.m., which will be held that day. at the Hixson-Klein Funeral Home in Smithville, Missouri, located in the state of Missouri.
