Michael Mook Death, Obituary – We are in a state of great and profound sadness after learning that Michael “Mook” Dovdavany passed away in Florida in a calm and serene manner this past Sunday. The news put us in a state of shock. Beginning in 1979 and continuing until 1992, Michael worked at Cejwin Camps in the capacity of Jewish Culture Specialist. Between the years 1979 and 1992, he served in that capacity there. A considerable number of campers had their love of Israel and Jewish culture sparked by Michael and Eleanor, Michael’s wife. As a result, the campers’ lives were improved as a direct result of Michael and Eleanor’s efforts.
Michael is also to blame for all of these recent occurrences. hiva that was held at the home of Ruth and Dan as hosts (3 Browning Road, Short Hills, NJ 07078) Beginning at five in the evening and continuing until approximately one minute after the conclusion of the Minyan service, which takes place at seven in the evening On the 15th of December, which fell on a Thursday, Ruth and Dan hosted a Shiva event at their home for their community (3 Browning Road, Short Hills, NJ 07078) Beginning at five in the evening and continuing until approximately one minute after the conclusion of the Minyan service, which takes place at seven in the evening The life that Michael Dovdaany, son of Mordechai and Rachel Dovdaany,
led and the legacy that he leaves behind may be a source of blessing for those who come after him. The fact that this is true has made me quite angry. He was a teacher of mine at the Canarsie Jewish Center, which is where I received my education in Hebrew. The many memories that I have of him are some of my most treasured, and they are among the many that I have. While we were living in Cejwin, we experienced some summers that ran concurrently with one another, which was rather common. I pray that he is finally at rest and that our memories of him will always be a source of blessing. May he rest in peace for all of eternity.
