Richard Wright Death, Obituary – Richard Wright’s untimely death occurred on Saturday, December 10, 2022, at Bluewater Health, following a brief struggle with illness. He was 79 years old at the time of his passing. Steve Forbes of Corunna, who is married to Heather, regards him as a respected stepfather. Forbes is a beloved step-grandfather to his grandchildren Courtney and Logan Forbes. Respected sibling of Robert Wright, who is married to Patricia, and Kathleen Pierce, whose late spouse was Robert Pierce. Robert Wright is married to Patricia, and Kathleen Pierce was married to Robert Pierce.
He is revered as an uncle by Joseph Wright, Patti Weir, Mike (Sue) Pierce, Jeff (Estelle) Pierce, and Lori (Dale) Nicholls, in addition to three great-nieces and three great-nephews. Jean (née Barnes) Wright, who was previously married to him, has a lot of warm feelings and memories associated with him. His niece, Elizabeth Carnegie, as well as his in-laws, Mr. and Mrs. Harold Barnes, and his parents-in-law, Joseph and Gladys Wright, all went away before he did (nee Wright). Richard was an electrician who took great interest in his job and had been a member of IBEW 530 for more than half a century at the time of this sentence. Following his election to the position of president of Local 530, he spent a number of years serving as the business agent for the organization.
In addition to this, Richard was a Freemason in the community. He had a reputation for being kind and helpful to others, and he never failed to offer support to people who were having difficulty. It is now time to declare the cremation procedure finished. A memorial service will be held on the Thursday, December 15, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at the Smith Funeral Home in Sarnia, which can be found at 1576 London Line. At the funeral home, friends and family will be able to pay their respects for one hour before to the start of the service, between the hours of 10:00 and 11:00 in the morning.
In Richard’s honor, memorial contributions can be sent to either the Multiple Sclerosis Society or the IBEW Local 530 – Richard Wright Apprenticeship Memorial Fund. Both of these organizations are supported by the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers. Either organization will ensure that Richard’s legacy and passion for encouraging young apprentices will continue long after his passing (cheques only at the funeral home please).
