Ruby Jewel Slone Death, Obituary – Ruby Jewel Slone, who had 67 years of life left when she passed away on December 12th, 2022, did so at the Highlands ARH Regional Medical Center in Prestonsburg, Kentucky. She was a patient there for three days before she was pronounced dead. She considered the community of Topmost, which is located in Kentucky, to be her home. She was born on December 5th, 1955 in Topmost, Kentucky to parents who are no longer with us; her father’s name was Virgil Slone, and her mother’s name was Margie Hall Bentley.
Neither of her parents is still with us today. She was Johnie Slone’s wife during the time that the two of them were married to one another. In addition to her husband, she is survived by her daughters, Tammy Lynn (Roger) Shrum of Topmost, Kentucky, and Misty (Eddie) Caudill of Topmost, Kentucky; her sisters, Letty Slone of Martin, Kentucky, and Nannie Jane Lucas of Pikeville, Kentucky; as well as her half sister, Shirley Hall of Dry Ridge, Kentucky; 11 grandchildren, and 13 great grandchildren. She will be greatly missed by all of her loved ones. Roger Shrum was her husband at the time.
Her parents, her son Tommy Lee Slone, her daughter Ruby Carol Cook, her brother Timothy Slone, her sister Anna Prater, and four of her great grandchildren all passed away before she did. She is survived by her brother Timothy Slone and her sister Anna Prater. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son Tommy Lee Slone and her daughter Ruby Carol Cook. Their names are respectively Ruby Carol Cook and Tommy Lee Slone. The first members of her family to pass away were her parents. When she passes away, she will be greatly missed by anyone who had the chance to get to know her and care for her during her lifetime.
The Hindman Chapel of the Nelson Frazier Funeral Home will open for visitation on the evening of Wednesday, December 14, 2022 at six o’clock. The funeral service will follow the visitation. The event is scheduled to take place all throughout the day on Thursday, December 15, 2022.On Friday, December 16, 2022, at one o’clock in the afternoon, funeral services will be held at the Nelson Frazier Funeral Home in Hindman, Kentucky. The funeral home is located in the state of Kentucky. Both Brent Tackett and Mark Sparkman will act as masters of ceremony for the event. Immediately after the conclusion of the service, the body will be laid to rest in the Slone Family Cemetery, which is located in Topmost, Kentucky.
