Alan Birss Obituary, Death – Paisley Abbey was the location of the funeral service for a former minister who served there. In the aftermath of Alan Birss’s loss, his family offered their most heartfelt sympathies to the community at large. This is an announcement that we truly regret having to make public because doing so brings us a tremendous deal of anguish; nonetheless, we have no choice but to do so. On December 9th.
Alan passed away at his home in Aboyne with Carol by his side. He had been dealing with his illness for some time. We are writing to offer our most sincere sympathies and to make sure you are aware of this news because the information has caused us a great lot of distress and we want you to know about it. At the end of September, he was given a diagnosis of stage four advanced oesophageal cancer. This stage of the disease is considered to be more severe.
Since that time, he has been receiving palliative care in order to continue his fight, and he has not shown any symptoms of giving up despite the difficulty of his condition. It is a terrible turn of events that he was unable to recover from the disease despite making all attempt possible. It is thought that he lost away as a result of a large internal hemorrhage that took place inside of his body. His passing was a devastating loss.
The funeral service will begin at 11:15 a.m. local time on Wednesday, the 21st of December, and will be held in Paisley Abbey. Following the service, the remains of the deceased will be cremated in a private ceremony. In addition, there will be a Thanksgiving ceremony held in Aboyne at some point after the start of the new year.
At this time, flowers should only be sent to the immediate family. Donations to Paisley Abbey are being requested in lieu of flowers from anyone who wish to express their condolences to the family (Abbey Close, Paisley, PA1 1JG).
