He was accompanied by his loved ones at the time of his passing. Eddie was a common name for him. Eddie Mullinax’s parents, Charles and Flossie Mullinax, both of whom have now passed away, gave birth to him in Gaston County, North Carolina. Sandy G. Mullinax, his wife, went away before him and followed both of his parents into the afterlife.
His children, Dustin Lee Mullinax and his wife Candice of Gastonia, his sister Lisa Mullinax Stamey of High Shoals and Debbie Evans and her husband Junior of Hickory Grove, South Carolina; his grandchildren, Remington Mullinax (Nuggett), Alana Mullinax (his Little Princess), Janeena Ramsey (Little Bug), and Cantrelle Ramsey (Little Man); his nieces and nephews, Robbie Evans and wife Donna, Christie Evans and husband
Eddie had a passion for living and, during the course of his life, he played several roles, including those of father, grandpa, brother, and uncle. Without a question, he favored wearing the sun hat the most. After dedicating his time and effort to the High Shoals Police Department over the course of his career, he was promoted to the position of Chief of Police there. After that, he continued his career as a law enforcement officer in Dallas, which is located in the state of North Carolina.
He was a member of the United States Army and the National Guard, where he held the position of 13E10 Cannon Field Directional Specialist. In addition to that, he served the community of High Shoals as a firefighter for more than three decades. Welding was his line of employment, and he made his livelihood doing it. Eddie was a baseball coach, and he often worked alongside his son Dustin.
During those years, he had the greatest level of prosperity in his life. Everyone who knew him was aware that the one thing he looked forward to the most was getting together with the people he cared about, whether they were members of his family or close friends. Spending time in the great outdoors can be a lot of fun when you participate in outdoor activities such as fishing, barbecuing, or even looking for deer in the woods. Because he had such a big heart, he was always prepared to lend a hand in whatever capacity was required, and he did so without hesitation.
