Dennis Magee Death, Obituary – We are extremely sorry to inform you all of the passing of Mayor Dennis Magee, and we want to offer our most sincere condolences for your loss during this trying time. We are deeply saddened to inform you all of his passing. It is with deep regret that we have to deliver this information to you. After learning of his passing, we would like to offer our most sincere sympathies to each and every one of you. Prior to being elected as Mayor of the Village, Mayor Magee served the community as a Trustee for a period of time equal to the duration of his current term as Mayor (25 years), which will come to an end in January of 2020. In other words, he served the community for the same amount of time as his current term as Mayor.
To put it another way, the time he has spent serving the community is equivalent to the length of his present term as Mayor. To phrase it another way, the amount of time he has spent serving the community is comparable to the duration of his current term as Mayor. To restate it in a different way, the amount of time that he has spent serving the community is comparable to the length of the term that he is currently serving as Mayor. In addition to having served his country with distinction in the United States Army during the Vietnam War, Mayor Magee was a devoted fan of the Chicago White Sox during his time as mayor of Chicago. Throughout his entire life, he remained a devout supporter of the team.
During the conflict, he volunteered his services to aid his nation. In spite of the fact that he was serving as mayor at the time, he made it a point to see the vast majority of his favorite sports team’s matches. We want the family and friends of Mayor Magee to know that they are in our thoughts and prayers as they go through this difficult time together with Mayor Magee. We are aware of the struggle that they are going through with Mayor Magee, and we would like for them to be aware that they have our support during this time. We are aware of the challenges that they are facing with Mayor Magee, and we would like for them to be aware that they have our support during this time.
