Kurtis Lee (Rump) Smith Obituary, Death – At 3:21 in the morning on December 7, 2022, a man named Kurtis Lee (Rump) Smith, who had lived in Mexico all his life and was 39 years old, passed away at his residence. The funeral services held in remembrance of the deceased person were held at the Pickering Funeral Home on the afternoon of Saturday, December 10, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. Pastor Chad Suma presided over the ceremonies, which were held in memory of the deceased person.
After the completion of the service, the burial was carried out in the cemetery that is owned and maintained by the Salt River Christian Church. Those who were unable to make it to the funeral ceremony were invited to stop by the Pickering Funeral Home on Friday between the hours of 4 and 6 pm for a visitation. In memory of the decedent, friends and family members are warmly urged to don an eccentric beanie or some other type of headwear of their choosing while attending the visitation.
On January 17, 1983, Kurtis was born in the country of Columbia. The seventeenth of January is his birthday. His father, Curtis Lee Smith, and his mother, Mary Helen Ennis, were named Curtis Lee Smith and Mary Helen Ennis, respectively. He was the son of his mother and father. He received his diploma from Mexico High School in the year 2001, making that year his year of graduation. He supported himself by working on farms and even spent some of his free time operating farm machinery. In addition to his attendance at the Rush Hill Community Church on a sporadic basis, he was an engaged member of the Salt River Christian Church. He also attended the church on occasion.
The Salt River Christian Church was his principal place of worship and affiliation with a religious community. His granddaughter Erika Renee Smith, who was just a young child when she passed away, along with two of his grandparents, one of his grandfathers, and one of his great grandmothers all passed away before he did. In addition, his granddaughter was only a young child when she passed away.
