Lillie Duhon Obituary, Death – Lillie Huddleston “Mama Lillie” Duhon, who is currently 84 years old, was born in Lake Charles on September 1, 1934. She is currently the oldest resident in Lake Charles. Lake Charles is her place of residence at the moment. Her father, David T. Huddleston, and her mother, Myrtle Ellis Huddleston, have both passed away in the time that has passed since that event.
Her entire youth was spent in the Lake Charles area, where she attended both W.O. Boston High School and McNeese State University on her way to receiving degrees from both universities. She holds a degree from both of these educational establishments. She was a member of the New Light Baptist Church, where she served in a number of leadership capacities, such as President of the Mission, Deaconess, former Church Secretary, and a member of the Senior Choir. In addition, she was a member of the church choir.
In addition to that, she participated in the Senior Choir at the local church. She departed this world on December 12, 2022 at 3:05 p.m. local time in Bogalusa, Louisiana, where she had been a resident for the prior half year and where she had been a resident for the previous half year. She had been a resident there for the previous half year. Her three daughters, Patricia Duhon Pete of Lake Charles, Louisiana, Mary Evelyn Duhon of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, and Myrna Myrick of Bogalusa, Louisiana; her son, Rayfield Duhon of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; her sister, Mary Ella Augustus of Lake Charles, Louisiana; her brother, David Frazier Huddleston of Rochester, New York; her seven grandchildren, including the grandson she raised, Brandon K. Duhon; and a large number of other relatives and Her brother Howard Huddleston, her sister Laura McMarion, and her husband Phillip Duhon all passed away before she did. Her passing comes after their passing. Her husband was also given the name Phillip. She was the only member of her immediate family to have made it this far. Her other relatives had all perished.
