Matt Suggs Obituary, Death – Matt Suggs, who formerly served as the chief executive officer of USA Shooting, lost his fight against esophageal cancer on December 8 and passed away as a result of complications resulting from his treatment for the disease. It was previously disclosed that Matt Suggs passed away as a result of these complications. After receiving the diagnosis back in April, Matt came to the realization that it would be in his best interest to resign from his position at USA Shooting in order to prioritize his health and well-being.
He fought the illness with valor and bravery, and he never allowed it to alter the kind of husband, father, or man he was. He fought the illness with honor and bravery. He fought the illness with honor and fortitude despite the severity of the situation. Those who cared for him and loved him from both of his families were by his side as he breathed his last breaths and passed away.
In addition to providing some insight into what the focus of shooting sports should be, it is appropriate at this juncture to offer some parting advice from Matt. The year before, Matt organized a meeting for a group of people who were ardent supporters of the USA Shooting organization. During the course of that talk, one of the supporters mentioned how gratifying it was for them to realize that the money they had donated might one day be used to assist shooters in bringing gold back to the United States.
Matt explained to those supporters that while the overt goal of USA Shooting was to overwhelm customs authorities with the shipment of valuable gold, there was another goal that was just as essential. Matt referred to this objective as the “background goal.” The purpose of this was to make more people aware of a certain problem. The purpose of this attempt is to make a positive and long-lasting impression on the lives of all of the shooters who take part in the program in any way, shape, or form.
