Paul Thomas Hendrix Obituary, Death – Paul Thomas “Tom” Hendrix, who resided in North Manchester and passed away on December 13, 2022 at the age of 72, did so while he was in the company of his family in the convenience of his own home. Hendrix was known as “Tom.” On January 20, 1950, Tom Hendrix was born in Wabash. Unfortunately, Tom Hendrix, along with his parents Paul Wayne and Beulah C. (Sigler) Hendrix, has since passed away.
Tom began his career as a truck driver in the same year, 1968, that he graduated from Wabash High School. This was the year that Tom graduated from high school. He had spent the larger part of his life working as a truck driver for a variety of companies up to the point where he began delivering car parts for O’Reilly Auto Parts in North Manchester. He had been with the company for over 20 years.
Tom exerted a great deal of effort so that he could take care of the family that he loved so much and provide for them. A significant chunk of Tom’s life was spent attending services at the First Brethren Church located in North Manchester. After that, he became a member of the Congregational Christian Church in North Manchester, which is also found in North Manchester, and he was initiated into the Christian faith at that particular church.
Tom enjoyed going to a variety of sporting events held at Manchester High School and demonstrating his support for the school’s student-athletes by attending these competitions. The Indiana University men’s basketball games and NASCAR races were among of his favorite things to watch on the weekend, especially on Sundays. Tom found the greatest joy in being able to treat his family to a home-cooked meal that he either grilled or prepared on the stovetop for them. Even when it was chilly outside, if you walked by Tom’s house and looked out the window, you would often see him standing outside and tending the barbeque. This would be the case even if you peeked out the window.
