Alex Duchart Death, Obituary – Our senior member Alex Duchart, who was 89 years old and had been battling illness for a short time, passed away this afternoon after a brief fight. The information was received by us with a great lot of regret and sadness. After Alex joined SUEPA earlier this summer, we finally had the opportunity to catch up with him and get to know him better. During that time, we had a wonderful and extensive conversation with him regarding his time spent playing the game and attending games at Roots Hall during the 1956–1957 season. The games he attended took place during that time period.
In addition, when we sent him the match program from his first performance at Roots Hall a few months ago, he was overjoyed and it made us happy to see his excitement. Please accept our sincere condolences on behalf of his family and friends during this difficult time. Alex, may you rest in peace knowing that you will forever be a Shrimper. At the time that this was published, we were unaware of the circumstances behind his dying, and it is very possible that these details will never be made public. On the other hand, when information regarding him is finally made available, it will be prominently featured on the front page of the newspaper for anyone who is interested in reading it.
Please know that you are in all of our thoughts and prayers as you go through this difficult time. We pray that God will give those who are grieving your death the strength and courage they need, because there is no feeling more agonizing than losing someone close to us in such terrible circumstances. We will never forget you, and we will always pray that God will give those who are grieving your death the strength and courage they need. We pray that God will give those who are grieving your death the strength and bravery they need to get through this difficult time.
