David Metz Death, Obituary – We are saddened to inform you of the demise of our revered founder, David Metz, who was 56 years old when he died away. This decision was made with the utmost amount of regret on our part. On Wednesday, December 14, 2022, he went away calmly after a courageous fight against cancer, which he had been enduring for the past few years. He had shown tremendous bravery in the face of the disease. David was a lovely man who lived his life in such a manner that he was always giving to others. He did this by making people the focus of his charitable efforts.
He accomplished this by making it a priority to assist others who were in his immediate vicinity. He graduated from Chambersburg Area Senior High School with his high school diploma in 1951, the same year that diplomas were handed out. He attended Chambersburg Area Senior High School. He joined the United States Air Force in 1951 and served in the military throughout the years 1951 through 1955, including throughout the Korean War. In 1955, he was eventually given an honorable discharge from the military service he had served in. When he was younger, he began his career in the service business by working as a waiter at a restaurant known as the Blue Bird.
This was his first job in the field. As a result of his passing, a significant number of individuals, including his family and friends, will feel a tremendous feeling of loss. He asked that the meal that was supposed to be served as a celebration of the life of the person who had died away be postponed until a later date so that he might have more time to grieve.
In addition to this, David worked for a youth league while simultaneously coaching basketball and baseball to elementary school students. He was a devoted fan of the Cleveland Browns and the Baltimore Orioles for the entirety of his life. Both teams played in Major League Baseball.
