David Priest Obituary, Death – My heart is aching from the loss of a friend like you, David Priest, and there are no words that can adequately explain this pain. I just can’t get myself to accept that you are no longer here. The way in which you loved your children, the manner in which you welcomed and included everyone, and the manner in which you truly offered a helping hand whenever one was required exemplifies the way in which you live your life. Both Alex and I would like you to know how grateful we are to have such a wonderful friend in you.
Card games, bonfires, getting the kids together at the skatepark, birthday parties, music events, and Cedar point will never be the same without you there. You had a lot of people that cared about you surrounding you. You had an extreme “others-centered” attitude and assisted everyone who was in need.
You made an effort to attend my band’s performance and were consistently the audience member who cheered the loudest.
When Alex was sick and didn’t have many other people to help him move into our new house, you were there to provide a hand. The list really could go on and on, but suffice it to say that we are extremely irritated by the fact that we will never again be able to spend quality time chatting with one of the very greatest friends we have ever had. Rest in peace, Oles family member; you are loved and will be sorely missed by all of us. We are destined to cross paths once more.
