Dorothy Hays Obituary, Death – Dottie B. Hays, who had previously called Checotah her home, passed away on Thursday, October 13, 2022. She had spent the majority of her life in that city. She could look back on 63 years of experience. She was born on Thursday, February 26th, 1959, in the city of Muskogee, which is situated within the state of Oklahoma. Her father’s name was Woodrow, and her mother’s name was Dorothy. Woodrow was her father’s name (Butler).
Dottie received her high school certificate from Checotah High School, where she had been a student, in the year 1977. 1979 was the year that she received her Associate of Arts degree from Connors State College, the institution in which she had been enrolled as a student prior to her graduation. Dottie pursued her education further and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Education from Oklahoma State University in 1981. Dottie graduated with this degree. After obtaining her degree, she continued to work in the same field throughout her career. She exchanged her vows and became a married woman all inside the same calendar year.
Dottie was a classroom instructor for the majority of her time in the city of Plainview in the state of Texas, where she resided and spent eight years of her life. In the end, she settled down in Checotah, Oklahoma, where she had worked as a teacher for a combined total of 28 years: 17 of those years were spent at Hanna Schools, and 11 of those years were spent at Okmulgee Schools. She eventually passed away.
Dottie uprooted her life and went to Tahlequah, Oklahoma, where she secured a job as a teacher at the Heritage Schools, where she had worked for the previous five years. Dottie had been working at the Heritage Schools for the previous five years. Dottie did not leave the Heritage Schools at any point throughout the time that she was employed there. She has a cumulative total of 41 years of experience working in the field of education across a variety of positions.
