Doug Robinson Obituary, Death – The sudden and unanticipated nature of Doug Robinson’s passing caught everyone off guard, and they were all shocked by the news that he had passed suddenly. We were nothing more than a couple of naive adolescents from Northern Ontario who were still trying to figure out life when we first met Doug. At the time, we were still trying to figure out what we wanted out of it. Doug took us under his wing and assisted us in determining what it was that we desired to get out of the situation.
When we initially became acquainted with Doug, we were both in the process of determining what it was in life that we truly desired. At that point in time, the knowledge that we had obtained about the real world came from the information that we had learned through the act of watching television. This made up the great majority of the information that we had obtained about the real world. Since then, ten years’ worth of time have passed by.
Time has certainly flown by. It’s possible that it happened before that, but it just as well could have happened now (for the past five minutes). Doug was the kind of reliable buddy that was available for his friends whenever they required his assistance. He was always there for them. He would watch out for your best interests at all times, unless there was an opportunity for him to make a hilarious jab at your expense, in which case he would put those best interests aside.
He would always look out for your best interests. He would never act in a way that was not in your best interest. When making judgments, he gave careful consideration to how they would affect you in the greatest possible way. The man derived a great deal of contentment from the fact that he was frequently successful in making other people laugh. produced laughter not just in the one who was laughing at the time but also in other people.
There is not a single word in the English language that can adequately describe how the two of us are now sensation right now. Doug was a respectable member of society who, sadly, was dealt a hand that was not to his advantage
