John Garner Obituary, Death – The passing of one of our own occurred in the early morning hours of today. During the decade that John Garner was of service to our community, beginning in 2007 and continuing through 2016, he was widely recognized as a guy who played an essential role in the expansion of both this department and this union. His presidency lasted from 2007 till 2016 inclusively. He was intelligent, courageous, powerful, compassionate, powerful, strong, polite, a critical thinker in vital situations, and of course, he knew how to have fun.
He was a formidable individual. He had a lot of strength. He had a hard exterior. He exhibited a kind nature. He had a lot of strength. He embodied everything that a firefighter ought to be and moreover, he exemplified everything that a firefighter ought to be. He was an outstanding example of what a firefighter should be. During the period that John spent in this city, he was successful in achieving a great deal of his goals and objectives.
He worked his way up to the rank of Lieutenant, obtained his certification as a paramedic, assisted in the response to thousands of calls for assistance that were placed to 911, and accomplished a great deal more. In addition to being an outstanding coworker, guide, and leader, John was most importantly a fantastic friend to each and every one of us. He will be greatly missed by all of us. We are going to miss John tremendously in our group.
Even though John left our department in 2016, he is still very much a part of our lives, and he will always be considered to be a member of the OSFD family. Even though John left this department in 2016, he is still very much a part of our lives. This won’t shift no matter how much time has passed since he’s been gone. The news has everyone in our department and anyone else who knew John in complete and utter amazement because John was liked by each and every person who knew him.
Those who were familiar with John are in total and utter shock at the news. We send our sincere condolences to John’s entire family as well as the Central Pierce Fire Department on the passing of a member; our hearts go out to you all for the terrible sorrow that has befallen you. We hope that you, brother, can find the peace that passes all understanding. John Garner
