Peter W. Melera Death, Obituary – Peter William Melera, whose mother affectionately referred to him as Peter Willy and who was known as Pete to his friends, departed this earthly world on Tuesday, October 25, 2022. He was known as Pete to his friends. He was commonly referred to as Pete. The only people he leaves behind are his wife Barb, their son Peter Franklin, their daughter-in-law Pam, and their four grandchildren. He is survived exclusively by his family. Peter was born on February 19, 1942 in the hamlet of Fort Plains, which is located in Jersey City, New Jersey, in the state of New Jersey.
He was born in the state of New Jersey. Peter Paul Melera, a carpenter, and his wife Vera Brown Melera, who worked in corporate secretarial work, always intended for him to be their only child. Vera Brown Melera worked in corporate secretarial work. His first eleven years of childhood were spent at Fort Plains with his family, but with the passing of his maternal grandmother, they moved to a farm on Slate Hill Road close to Sharon Springs. During those eleven years, he had no siblings or other children of his own. He spent the last 80 or so years of his life living in a number of states around the East Coast of the United States, but he never stopped considering Sharon Springs to be his home.
As a result, he took care to maintain his legal residency in that city throughout his whole life. He never moved from that location during his entire life. It was in the year 1960 when he graduated from Sharon Springs Central School and obtained his diploma. He participated in a wide variety of extracurricular activities while he was a student in high school. He competed in sports such as baseball, basketball, and soccer during his time at the university. In addition to that, he became a member of the Methodist Youth Fellowship and began to study the drums.
