Tom Kramer Obituary, Death – As we express our sorrow over the passing of Tom Kramer, the luster of the golden arches has been slightly diminished. Tom was the one who introduced Tell City to its first McDonald’s restaurant in 1976. Between the years of 1997 and 2007, he and his wife Susan worked together to run the restaurant. In 2007, he decided to stop working with their son Ryan and sold the company to another person.
In the year 1999, Tom was the one who made the choice to provide a young guy who was only 15 years old the opportunity to work at his restaurant. This decision was made by the young boy’s older brother. I am really thankful that I was given the opportunity to work for the Kramers; to me, they were more than just an employer; they were family. I am truly thankful for this opportunity.
To this day, I still think of it as my home even though I no longer physically reside there. Tom and the McDonald’s brand imparted upon me a wealth of knowledge regarding the variables that contribute to the efficient management of a successful business as well as the significance of delivering outstanding service to McDonald’s customers. I will be eternally grateful to have had Tom in my life, and the priceless lessons about life that he taught each and every one of his employees will be something that I will never forget. For everything that he’s done, I want to take this opportunity to thank Tom.
