Larry McPeek Death, Obituary – After learning of Larry McPeek’s passing, the OVSCA has entered a period of grief because he was a lifelong member of the organization. The races were nothing new for McPeek, who was a seasoned contender. McPeek was able to participate in the OVSCA’s events thanks to the fact that he was a member of the organization. During the period that Larry was a member of the OVSCA, he made it a point to see the bulk of the races that were held at Ohio Valley Speedway. In addition, he participated in several of the races himself. Competition was held in late models as well as sprint cars throughout these tournaments.
In addition to that, Pete Smith hired Larry to work for the company as a driver. Larry was employed by Pete Smith “West Virginia Sprinter This year, in Wayne County, I had the pleasure of actually getting to meet Wayne for the very first time. I am sorry for your loss “. When I was a kid, I used to go to the Atomic Speedway all the time to see Larry race around the track. It was one of my favorite things to do.
