Robert Adamson Death, Obituary – Robert Adamson was a well-known poet and publisher who garnered praise and appreciation from a wide variety of people living in a variety of locations all over the world. He was born in the United States. He was granted a great number of other accolades and prizes, the most notable of which are the Blake Prize and the Patrick White Award, both of which he was successful in obtaining. One of the giants that lives among us but doesn’t seem to stand out very much. I have the deepest and most sincere hope that the radio and television news broadcasts that take place today at ABC will be able to pay tribute to his passing in some way.
These programs hold a significant amount of importance for me. In the same way that the impact of competition in sports cannot be emphasized, neither can the importance of artistic expression.
When I heard about Robert Adamson’s passing, I found myself in a state of shock and disbelief. I will never be able to get over the fact that he has passed away because he was the person who established the Copyright Agency Chair of Australian Poetry at UTS. Robert Adamson was the pioneering figure who established himself in the role at UTS. In addition to being the pioneer in this role, he is widely considered to be one of our most talented poets.
He was also the first individual to have this role. During this difficult time, our thoughts and prayers are with his family as well as his companion, Juno Gemes. Please accept our condolences. I pray that he finds eternal rest. Despite the fact that Juno Gemes was the photographer responsible for this picture, she does not lay claim to any ownership rights to it.
