Vale Hari Death, Obituary – On the unfortunate occasion of Hari’s premature passing, the club would like to offer its most sincere condolences to his family and friends. When it came to being a legend in the eyes of those who were part in the Over 35s/45s PHFC football competition, everyone agreed that Hari was the real deal. The word “legend” is used in common conversation quite frequently. A gentleman who constantly wears a grin, is quick to engage in playful banter, goes above and above in his acts of giving, and is a big force behind the club’s Masters program. Hari was such a giver, both on and off the field; he was a player’s player who also won best and fairest.
This generosity extended to both the on-field and off-field environments. When he saw that other teams were short players, Hari would immediately stop what he was doing and go help out the other teams. A goal that was scored with one minute left on the clock when the game was winding down? Hari is the kind of player that will immerse himself in the action and assist you in regaining your footing if you let him. Do you require assistance with the Covid signage, assistance at the bar, or aid in maintaining the flow of the quiz nights? Hari was the kind of humble and unassuming guy who would roll up his sleeves and assist out wherever he was needed. He was always willing to lend a hand.
The end-of-season excursions that people take will never be the same again now that the man who made herding cats appear easy is no longer around to do it. Everyone connected with Pine Hills Football Club will feel a tremendous lack of Hari’s presence in their lives because of this. Our sincerest condolences go out to Hari’s wife Jenni, their children Sienna and Jaiden, and all of Hari’s family and friends during this trying time.
